I got the strong8k and want to know if anyone can confirm the reliability of the connection for live tv channels. over the years of dealing with 3rd party services there has always been some sort of buffering or locking up issues.I am not having any issues with the trial so far but its only 24hrs. I assume we are all here because we dont want to spend a ton of money each month for iptv.I use nordVPN and have been for many years now.I have gigabit internet and solid connection. If anyone understands how netflix and sling and youtube tv and others alike work then you know the challenge of finding a good 3rd party iptv service. So with that said whats yalls experience with this strong 8K?
I have it as a backup to my Main service but because the quality of the NFL have been so good (all HD 60FPS) I found myself watching NFL on Strong 8K all day Sundays for the entire season. Almost zero buffering nothing to even report. Some days I went the whole day watching NFL without a single glitch. And there is a nice selection of VOD/Movies as well. Would highly recommend as a backup or even as your main service
Yes, thanks for your input. Have you tried any of the others I mentioned like extreme hd iptv or appollo group tv ? I just wonder what this strong8k compares to or is it better than them all short of paying for services like slingtv or others alike?
Apollo is awful. I can’t believe I used them before, but then I found this group. Apollo no more
The Strong team have issued a url that should work with any vpn app,

Again IMO Strong 8K is better than anything I’ve tried except my Main service which is an underground, hdden, no website, no discord, invite only service that is not taking on new subs at this time. I used to pay like $80/month for Youtube TV. Tried KEMO for a while tons of buffering then I found my Main Service then Strong 8K. Pay the $32 or $35 and go with it.
There are many gurus here and I am not amongst them. I would not think that getting 2 totally different Amber services would be an issue (for reliability and primary/backup) as I imagine (or speculate) that each service is on a different server. They don’t all go down at the same time. @MikeN and @SoloWarrior and @DaveZerf and @sim_bill can chime in here.
A post was merged into an existing topic: Iptv service other than Amber
Comparatively, to the xtremehd that was shuttered, I find Strong to be more consistently reliable in the same controlled setting.
It’s a solid service and come with an inarguably rock solid price point with a unique bonus.
Bonus = top notch Amber customer service included.
The only service I have tried with catch-up is Trex through Amber. I’m satisfied with it.
Thanks @MikeN ! I added this to my other URLS for Amber Strong. I used this one on my office box (Ugoos AM9) and it works great.
I’ve had Strong for about 4 months and it’s fabulous.
Very true. It could then depend on different servers and the responsiveness of the separate service administrators when there are problems. That one familiar service (that will be unnamed), is very good at quickly getting things back up when there are problems. Others may not be as responsive so it is always good to have a backup.
I have no idea of the Hardware configuration of amber’s various services and if different services are hosted on the same or different servers. But I do know she is very responsive to dm’s. So you may want to ask her in a message on her Alibaba page.
If I were looking to buy 2 services from her, for me it would be Trex or Dream and one either Lion or Mega.
Amber’s services are fed off of different servers. For example, Trex didn’t have problems during the Strong outage.
But services may share certain categories such as some 24/7 or regional sports etc. So, 2 different services could have a channel outage at the same time (no matter where you purchase the service from). You never really know since they are not going to tell you. You find out when they both go down at the exact time on a channel and come back up at the exact same time while a third provider is unaffected.
Does Trex have the NBA games on catch up? Thanks.
