When you go on your world.gz or eu.gz, you donât download the file, you need to copy link address. Then shorten the copied link to put it in to tivimate. I used Tinyurl.com rather than epg top shortener.
This is from My Epg top:
How to add EPG to Tivimate
The first step is to log in to your account, go to the download section, and copy the link (right-click).
Strong, Trex, and Dream4k have two EPG files: EU (all European countries) and World (other countries around the world). You can use both or just one, as you prefer.
I used Coinbase but because there is a minimum amount set I set it up with the developer to pay for 2 year subscription and I think it was around 16 bucks in Canadian funds.
Troypoint has a good tutorial on how to use Coinbase.
I went with WISE to pay for MYEPG. The amount on their website was in Euros. WISE did the conversion, and with the service charge it came out to $7.37 which I paid with my Mastercard. I looked at the others payers on the list, and there were some issues like a service charge if you didnât use it often enough, etc..
I will most likely use WISE when I renew MYEPG next year.
Those that have Amber Babyâs MegaOtt is down, FYI, she said it would only be 4 hours but more than likely I think a new URL will be giving if it doesnât come back on, again.
Back channel chater indicates there was s server failure, then a power outage and last but not least an optical cable damaged. So patience. None of this is confirmed and only back room chatter at this point. But most likely a fix will happen by 4AM EST they say. Again I canât confirm any of this.
You could use Wise to pay in US $ or any country they have an account
By mistake you went to an account in Europe instead of US - hence you were charged in Euro
MYEPG charges in Euros, at least thatâs what I see on their website with no option to post a number in US Dollars. Thatâs the price next to every service. When I went to WISE and selected the site that they would pay (which was MYEPG), they saw EUROS and charged me American Dollars to my credit card. I wouldnât know what to do with a Euro. They did the necessary conversion, plus charged me their regular service charge, and it was done. I paid in American dollars.
It was Wise.com paying a European site, in American dollars.
