Hi, looking for advice on which streaming device to purchase. I’m a newbie to Android boxes and what to consider. i.e. the new Google Streamer, Fire Stick, Roku, a Chromebook, NVIDIA, ONN 4K, Formuler, Buzz X5 etc?

I’m not a gamer but would watch TV, Series and Movies, with maybe an IPTV subscription?

What should I be considering? A fast CPU, minimum 4 or 8 GBs RAM and 128 GBs or more ROM. Ease of adding apps, launcher, usb ports etc.

Any reason for one device over the others? All opinions welcome.

If you are in the US it’s a no brainer…ONN 4K Pro for Movies/TV/and IPTV. Walk into your local Walmart or Walmart.com

If you want to stream/subscribe to apps like YouTube TV or Fubo, there is a reason ROKU controls 66% off the streaming device market. ROKU is simple to operate and it’s high quality.
If you want to expand your streaming to include some 3rd party IPTV, the ONN 4K Pro as @MarkxG mentions, it’s really hard to beat and I’m told does a great job with Fubo et.al. Just go to Wally World l

Thanks for the replies, though I am not in the US. If I order it would be from Amazon UK, due to different plugs and voltage. UK does not have the ONN products, though it’s supposedly sold in Europe as the Thomson Streaming Box Plus 270, which I cannot find so ONN is not an option.

ROKU, Nvidia Pro (after upgrade), Fire Stick/Cube, Tanggula X5 Pro, other?

Thoughts on the Tanggula X5 Pro?
