Thanks Troy. With you pointing out the Google/Reddit nonsense, which has become overwhelming, I have switched to one of your suggestions DuckDuckGo. Still early stages but I am seeing newer and more diverse results, which is a plus. FYI, Troypoint is often showing at the top in searches.
I have started using Brave. Since the onset of AI, Chrome has been giving results outside of what I asked for.
I have spent the past year trying to moving away from all google products. I only use Vivaldi browser with Duck Duck Go search, Proton Mail, and set up an Asustor NAS for picture and video backup.
Love Google been using it for decades and I see zero reasons to change. always find what I need
You’re such a rebel! LOL
Oh by the way I hate Yahoo news and their search engine! Their the most crookedest lying POS news source I’ve ever seen!
But I have to go through them every time I log into AT&t email because I’ve had this email address so long I can’t get it nowhere else. Kind of like a personalized license plate.
I have been using Firefox on the computer and DuckDuckGo on my tablet and phone.
It’s 2024 LOL if you need to jump through all these hoops for your email the issue is you. Get another provider. Why are you struggling with an email provider
I’m a BIG fan of DuckDuckgo. Been using it for almost a year now.
Wow, I created 2 different gmail email accounts a couple months ago and was able to create them exactly like I wanted. I don’t like having to remember a series of numbers on email addresses. I like to keep them as simple as possible.
I have 6 gmail accounts.
Yeah you are doing something very very wrong. My real email is through gmail I’ve had it for about 20 years no series of numbers, and I have an additional 1/2 dozen burners I use for “other stuff” that don’t have “50 numbers behind it” like you say. Anyway I guess the struggle is real for you @AJS1
yea I have a few,still have a hotmail trash one,plus a few others lol
Brave does it for me…
Yahoo news is a POS!
I have an very old at&t email and sent Gmail up to read them all into Gmail. All my email is one app.
I tried that a couple times it didn’t work for me, I guess I’ll try it again.
What app do u use?
Email for the most part is a simple thing. I don’t think you are doing a good job explaining your issue. But Good luck on finding an answer!
