Any feedback on updating Beetv would be greatly appreciated. Here’s my issue. When updating Beetv 3.5.1 to 3.5.2, it downloads another Beetv app and tells me I have to delete the original app. This has never happened before when updating. Is this legit?

3.5.2 is indeed out. Go directly to their site if you are concerned about an “official” app.
The app I have is official. The website is under maintenance so I can’t go there. And when I updated again, I got 3.5.4 but it’s doing the same thing. Downloading another app and asking me to delete the 3.5.1 version.

The website is up and running for me. Are you sure you’re going to the right place? Remove the brackets, no spaces.

I have usually seen when it comes up uninstall current version first it also says to ignore-which I do-and then it comes to install new update and no save data will be lost.

It used to do this with the very early versions of BeeTV. I thing they just deleted a flag or something in the most recent updates, leaving the user to delete the old version.
Like many of the articles on this site, it has a current date stamp but the content is way out of date. BeeTV is working and is updated regularly, but the alternative suggested (Cinema) hasn’t been updated for over a year (an unofficial revision is available but nobody knows what to make of it).
I posted because I thought this was a recent update/occurence. I stand corrected…thank you for verifying as I do not use this apk or have never put it on one of my devices.
So then, what is the deal with their website still saying, as of 32 seconds ago…that they are “Under Maintenance”? @sktn77a
The original website has been down for a while (thank you, ACE, MPAA), but the app is available from many other sites, currently v3.5.6 and it automatically updates. Sadly, is does force you to use the BPlayer external player.
Not true. Look at the dates on the webpages.

That’s what I said - the date on the web page is up to date, but the current version of BeeTV can be downloaded from other sites. I see Troy does now include FilmPlus (with ads) and Kodi as alternatives.
Edit: The BeeTV “official site” (beetvapk.me) has been down for a while but this site has the current version, which updates regularly: https://beetvapk.org
if you need subtitles, do not waste your time on beetv.
Every time I try to go to their official app it says it’s down. What is the site you use?
Give that a try. If it doesn’t work I’ll find you another APK to download from one of my trusted libraries.

BeeTV keeps on asking me to update to the new version 3.7.4 . UPDATE button doesn not work.
I used APKTime and installed the version available which is the 3.7.3 but still when I start BeeTV it asks me to Update with v3.7.4 . I click on the blue button “UPDATE” but download does not move on. Nothing is downloaded.
Strange, when I went back on APKTime the version available is 3.7.2 and I cannot install it.
And I tried to go to beetvapk.me but site is under maintenance.
Do you have the same problem ? Did you need to update ?
How can I solve this please ?
If I remember correctly others had this issue and had to uninstall the old app first then download and install the latest version.
I am having same issue with BeeTV not wanting to update from 3.7.3 to 3.7.4. Click update button and it just sits there.
Is there a workaround?
