Apps Restarting After Using Fast Task Killer

Can anyone explain why when i use the Fast Task Killer 5 minutes later all the tasks i had previosly “killed” are killed again. Does this app actually work?

Haven’t used it since I downloaded the TDUK App Killer and App Cache Cleaner many, many moons ago.

I use it every day and it does free up a bit of RAM, but of course some system app tasks simply restart as they’re suppose to. If I do it 3 or 4 times on a row they’re isn’t any valuable gains at all.

I have a memory and ram widget that’s visible to me when I use fast task and it definitely bumps up the ram. :+1:

Does that by any chance work on the FS and if so, where might I find it? I like seeing the state of my hardware.

Hey @Wizzard The Firesticks have a tool for what you want. Do a search for the System X-Ray overlay. Be sure to learn how to turn it on and off as it isn’t something I ever liked keeping on all the time, but certainly was useful for analyzing the system as well as the impact of running certain apps.

I did have it on a fire cube using wolf launcher about a year ago. Had to use Troys adding a widget tutorial to add an adb command.

Thank you. I am sure that defsquid had something like that. I know I did have an overview but it’s been so long I can’t remember. That is the USA app store btw. On a separate note, off to the USA again tomorrow so I will once again look for the Onn.

It’s actually the developer forum no idea why it lists under the app store, but just explains the uses of the X-ray overlay and how to use it. It’s a tool for the firesticks that very few know about. Be safe on your trip my friend.
