I’ve had this app for years. This isn’t a new video is it? I’ve not seen anything by him for the longest time.

Not sure if its new or not. TechDoctorUK posted it yesterday. How do you like it? Is it worth dowloading?

Well it does work but on my Shield Pro, you might know, it isn’t as straight forward as stated in the vid. Naturally I had to make sure that this app was allowed to install unknown apps. I then ran into instances where “Bundles” were involved which you couldn’t simply click on to install, as in the case of Tivimate. So I use Bro Browser which will download and install. I used this APP and then had to open the download in the browser, long click on it and then open it’s containing folder, which opened my file explorer X-Plore and then I had to click on the correct file and then click install, then it worked. This was the case for a number of apps.

Ya it isn’t quite as straight forward as it appears. Took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to use this app and get what I wanted. Now that wasn’t the case with all my apps. Some actually worked exactly as the Doc said. At least it does show the latest updates that I didn’t know existed. So that’s great. I had to use this app, use my Bro Browser and use my file explorer to get it all done. Now I have to take a closer look at “bundles”.

Might just load on my ONN box, since it has over 23gb open. Firestick only has 1.9gb open. I like to keep around 2gb open to ensure smooth streaming

@Miki if you want an easy way to install the APK’s that come in bundles, I have apk combo installer on my device so if I attempt to download a bundle, I’ll get a popup asking if I want to use ES file explorer or apk combo installer. I found it a little easier. Hope you’re feeling well today :+1::slightly_smiling_face:

Forgot to mention but it also has an app updater in the app.

I am well thank you @PapaS . I used my X-plore file explorer which opened the file for me to click to install. Now I know how. Tx my friend and may you and your family have a wonderful Christmas season.

If it takes you 30 mins Miki it is likely to take me 30 days. I have great respect for Tech Doctor though!

Same here. You have to click through a thousand ads and still get directed somewhwere else for the download, and click through a more ads, and I don’t know about y’all, but the cursor was extremely difficult to put on the Close button of all the popup ads. His quick code to the download is outdated. I went to the site on my computer and it’s a totally different address than what he has in the video. Even on the computer, there are still ads out the kazoo and I never did get to the actual download page. So screw it. It’s a way for him to make money and a pain in the ass for me.

Here is a direct download link for the app for the impatient people…

Yes, you are correct. I have tried this app many times and I can’t stand it. Changed my apps… For example… Nvidia GeForce Now turned my that app into a web shortcut that wasn’t accessable on my Android TV. Had to uninstall and reinstall. It’s nothing but problems for me.
