Greetings.
I am having trouble finding an app that will stream British TV shows (not live, but catch-up). If possible, I would like to find a free app instead of Brit Box. I have tried Syncler, Weyd, FilmPlus, and Kodi, but so far I can’t get many shows I’d like to watch. Does anyone have suggestions for either an APK or a Kodi AddOn? (I am using an ONN TV Pro)

Can’t help with that, but I would love a reliable site for streaming the BBC, ITV, Sky and TNTsports channels from the UK.

Best for that is a paid IPTV service. If you become a Patron you get access to the locked IPTV services thread which has a ton of info on quality affordable IPTV services with the channels you mention
Get the catchuptvandmore kodi addon, it covers the main ones itvx(stv) channel 4 and 5. You can install from the official kodi repo or from their repo. I install from their repo and use the beta version as always up to date more than the kodi repo.

Tried it. Bit of a bust. Kinda like the “live channels” on a lot of free internet resources - nothing anybody is going to watch.
@mdoiron I think TREX has a ton of UK series content in its’ VOD.
I have used various apps in the past which have disappeared over time. Streamfire was good but now seems to have gone. I can watch bbc, itv, ch4 and ch5 using my browser and a vpn switched to a U.K. server. You have to fiddle about signing up to each one but they work.
My IPTV service has them all. I watch exclusive Brit crime shows. You do have to have VOD so you can watch shows from the past. I find them and save them all in my different apps, Nuvio, Stremio, etc…
@Remy same here with my IPTV services. I love the BBC Crime shows they seem so much more gritty than American Crime Dramas. Have you watched Blue Lights or Line of Duty? If so are there any others you would recommend?
I’m currently watching Dept Q if that qualifies.

For ALL the free to air uk chanels go for ExpatPrime. It costs about 120 euros a year but is very reliable and easy to use/ set up, with good support as well.
Being an expat Brit it is essential for keeping the wife happy!
Shetland, Vera, Inspector George Gently, Judge John Deed, Grace, The Bay, Happy Valley.
And, of course, Midsomer Murders.
Don’t miss Gangs of London! Waiting for the next season. It’s right up there with Line Of Duty.

I have been using Expat Prime for years. It works seamlessly for both live and catch up. It’s available on the Playstore so no workaround is needed. They even sell their own set top box but you don’t need it.
A previous post said it costs €120 a year in Europe. I looked it up here in the US - $30 a MONTH. Not exactly cord cutting - think I will give it a miss.
