I doubt you can. I suspect that will be done at the admin level and involve firewall rules.
you could try a vpn unless they block that and have enough speed.
I personally use NextDNS in my house. I have a few custom block lists added to my profile and it gives great adblocking house-wide.
The reason I didn’t include it in the list is that they do have a limit of how many queries you can use in the free plan (i pay for premium)
So I didn’t want an end user to select it and then complain about my app when they have ran out of the free quota !
I have used adblock.dns.mullvad.net with the switcher, it works well.
I know you’ve mentioned you had some hospital stays in the past. Did you run into this same problem? The wifi block for streaming?
My hospital stays were in Mexico and they don’t care what you use their internet for. They have it split into administrative and public access. If you want to get around any restrictions why not try your Phone hotspot and see if that works for ya.
Ah. I didn’t know you were in Mexico at the time. Good ole USA has me on lockdown.
The phone hotspot works, but it runs the battery down on my phone. Thought there may be another solution.
Take your power adapter and leave your phone plugged in.
I always take my ac adapter but sometimes it’s a pain to find a plug that keeps the cord out of the way for the nurses, doctors, technicians, etc. Usually charge overnight and have it out of the way during the day. Would be interested in trying a VPN to see if that would work, thought I’d ask first.
I added the one you posted. Worked flawlessly. No speed loss at all.
Yes, I only mentioned adblock.mulvad because that’s the only one I tested.
Get a power bank.
Can anyone see an “Update” to my app in the playstore?
It tells me that the new version is live

Hopefully it allowed the app to update ?
