Discord How to setup Realstream .
I was going to try it out, as it is talked about in one of the discords I am in, but since I started messing with and using STRMR I did not try it. Nuvio is another one. I did try it a while back and had issues so I removed it.
Curious if anyone gave this a go and had any thoughts to share. I have been thinking about trying it out
I have installed real stream and set it up, I also installed Nuvio again as many have said it has been redone and is better.
I have to say I am liking Nuvio over real stream and maybe even better than STRMR right now. So far what I have watched has been pretty much auto play when I clicked on it, maybe 5-10 seconds until it gets links, but I have not had to pick any links.
Real stream if I remember you will need a TVDB I think it is link.I could be wrong there are several TVXX things but it needs your API from one of them.
Duck has set up guides if you need a walk through on setting any of them up.
Thank you this! The duck guides did not have an entry specifically for nuvio. Which one did you use for instructions on how to set it up?
I use the stremio AIO and then when you get to the quick start choose Manifest at the top instead of Stremio, and then you will get the URL to add in to what every you like, Stremio, STRMR, Real Stream, Nuvio and who knows how many others. Copy it and paste it someplace handy.

Youāre 100% right. I started using Nuvio a couple days ago, and am really impressed. The degree of configurability with the settings is top notch. Thereās so much customization that you can do within this app to make it fit your personal needs/preferences.
I will say that there are a few quirks Iāve noticed with account sync between the settings in dashboard > mobile > tv, and also with Trakt progress, but I think thatāll work itself out. Iāve also noticed that not all movies are showing the trailer button, but that has been reported should be addressed. Having the trailers play directly within the app vs. opening an external app like YouTube / SmatTube is a nice touch.
Overal, this app is great and has a lot of promise. As a few of these quirks get ironed out, I think itāll squarely surpass STRMR (which in my opinion is already a solid improvement over Stremio).
Agree. Iām loving Nuvio. I have been getting a message to update the app just about everyday, which in my mind is a great thing. The developer(s) seems to be actively working on making what is already a great beta app even better. I have noticed the same quirks with account sync and settings, but has not been a big deal to me and I bet the developer(s) will get it all smoothed out at the rate he seems to be going. Big thanks to @DaveZerf for sharing this!
Which Nuvio version do I install for Onn 4K pro?
I also like it so far. It does have addon configuration issues and says it mark new episodes in Series in my library but not that I can see so far. This is way better than STRMR as it has a library, although also has Trakt if you use it. Rearranging rows is pretty straight forward. I wonder if there is a place where the various sections can be explained. The HERO thing as an example. I donāt see where that actually is or what it does. They keep this up and Stremio will actually have a worthwhile competitor.
From what Iāve seen, they donāt have any comprehensive guides like STRMR or Stremio do. With that being said, thereās quite a bit of activity on their Discord channel. Lots of detail can be found through a search of posts from other users, but unfortunately I havenāt found a single comprehensive guide.
The Hero section basically provides some āfeaturedā content at the top of the Home screen. Personally, I disabled it so that I just have āContinue Watchingā and then my other catalogs display (similar to Stremio layout).
You configure Hero within the Home Screen settings. Here it can be enabled/disabled. You can also change the way it looks (legacy, Carousel, or Apple TV style), and can change which of your catalogs it pulls from. So, it could show suggested content based on your āTrending Moviesā catalog, or you could change it to something completely different such as IMDB Top Rated Movies.
Iāll also say that I was having major issues with AIOLists where the catalogs were taking a very long time to load, or were completely blank. I switch over to AIOMetadata, and this cleared things up and now everything works much better in Nuvio (FYI).
Trust me I know where every setting is as I did a deep dive into them. It was a tad hard to get it synced across my devices as the QR code expires rather quickly but did manage to get it after 3 tries. Havenāt tested it yet. Still learning what things are like the Add repo. in the plugins section and what that does.
Tinkering is where the fun is 
. I personally did not add any addonās other than setting up trakt sync and if I remember correctly (not in front of my tv at the moment) it had its own section. I only setup the AIO plugin .json file based on the direction I got from DaveZerf, toggled on all of the tmdb stuff and added an api key for thetmdb (i think that is what it was called). Just with this, it has been perfect. Like what wcr5jop1 mentioned, I like that you can view trailers within the app instead of depending on an external app like YouTube or SmartTube. I have not made any changes to the rows. I may look into this further
I have not experienced the same issue with AIO Lists. Good to know tho. I will keep this in mind
