Hi all I have just got a X96 Max ultra 8k viewing box and on my live TV sometimes it goes pixilated?? It’s driving me mad there must be a fix for this? Please help, Thanks
It might just be down to the stream going bad or internet issues. It happen on other devices?

No it only happens on my new box but only sometimes. Was thinking there must be a setting somewhere on the box, there is but it only let’s me change from different 4 k version s?

No buddy a didn’t know there was such a thing? Am just using my play station 4 hdmi cable.
For 8k I would check to make sure you have a high speed HDMI cable for fast transfer speeds.

If your pixelated that bad its your internet. Its trying to stream hd but for 1080p and higher you need at waat 30 down and higher for 4k check your internet speeds

Trust me the cheap box is not 8k, set it to the best 1080p

This is why,
Many of these use eye popping fake specs to sell but in truth they are not. Dont get me wrong, most likely its a great box, just not 8k

It is buddy thanks a was just looking for an alternative to the 4k firestick which I already have.
Not really, if the file size is low sure. But bigger 4k file sizes you will need more than that. I bet thats why you cant get good streams on 4k.

Another quick question please, is my isp more likely to throttle my speed s on a box compared to a firestick? Is it all the same? I don’t use a Vpn.
If you are close to your modem with an under 35’ distance and line of site, then use the 5GHz band and wireguard in you VPN. You should get better speeds. Oh I just saw your last post. You absolutely need to use a VPN when Streaming for countless reasons.
A have it wired to my router, who would you recommend for a Vpn?
Use a vpn to avoid throttle.
There are way to many good VPNs to recommend just one. Troy usually has SurfShark advertised for a discount. Unlimited devices. Use the search and do some reading is your best bet.
