I have installed Vysor on my windows pc. Made sure to allow adb debugging and install apps from unknown sources are both on. Copied my ip from my fire stick put the information into Vysor and click connect and I get a message that my android is offline. This can be resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting device. I never received message on fire stick to allow.
Hey Miz & welcome…
Havent messed with Vysor in awhile, but youll have Vysor on both devices & yor droid will give u a link, u have to send your pc that link/email… then u enter that link into Vysor on pc & they should prompt to connect, may take a cpl tries
(They hv to be 2 diffrnt IP addresses i think)
Also make sure to Unlink when yur dun, if not youll stay linkd…
Heres the toot & vid if u havnt seen them

Hi there thanks for the information. I have that already done and all and it was working. Now when I am at my dads and I try to connect with his computer using vysor to his firestick i get the message that the device is offline but yet I can make the firestick run on his tv. Just unable to get it to connect to his PC using Vysor. Screenshot added.
and you’ve made sure Android debugging is turned on? If it was turned on before you connected it to this new TV then try turning ADB off restart the stick and then restart ADB. See if that helps.
Android debugging was turned on so I turned it off restarted firestick then restarted ADB and it still doesn’t work get the same message.
Could AnyDesk (or one of your Bluestacks Android emulators) be running a background ADB process that is preventing your PC from sending the “Start Vysor” command to the Firestick?
Try stopping any ADB process on your PC: Task Manager / Processes / Background Processes / Select adb.exe / End Task.
Then launch Vysor on your PC.
When Vysor starts on the Firestick, it will check the installation to make sure it is up to date.
Maybe considering every time I close the adb.exe in task manager it starts up again and I have no idea what would be making it do that. I have AnyDesk shut down and I don’t use blue stacks
Shut down everything that was adb and closed everything via task manager. Also Uninstalled Vysor from firestick. Restarted firestick and then tried to run Vysor from PC knowing that it should make the firestick reinstall vysor and I still get offline message. Only ADB program running on PC is vysor and only ADB program running on firestick is vysor. I’m at a loss
I was able to recreate the error message , which told me the ADB handshake was not working.
To resolve, I did this:
Uninstalled Vysor on Firestick
Made sure ADB Debugging and Apps From Unknown Sources were ON (they already were)
Unplugged Firestick for at least one minute
Rebooted Firestick normally.
Launched Vysor from PC, let it run through the APK installation on Firestick
From Vysor on PC, connected to Firestick over network
Clicked View Device, could now see Firestick screen
All goodness
The key here is to leave the Firestick unplugged for at least one minute, so it clears out any addresses it’s storing in memory (that we don’t have any other access to).
Perhaps the Vysor error message text should state “unplugging” instead of “disconnecting”
I did everything you suggested even to the point of unpluging firestick from power as well as tv for at least 3 mins. Still get the same message.
I use vysor to admin several other boxes and its downright a pain. I set it up and usually will work the 1st day or so and then poof it stops. Its just not that good. I pay for it and never have liked it, Terrible support also.
I have to say that the support and suggestions I’m receiving here seem to be great. Now the support on the vysor discord group is nothing. I asked the same question the same time and no one has said anything. I even tagged the creator. I just wish there was a way I could control my dad’s firestick from my house.
I understand and use vysor for similar reasons. When it works its very cool and basically its remote admin and I like to use it to keep remote tivimate playlist updated. I’m not sure of your tech savvy but what im in the process of doing is setting up a server to host all the tivimates I admin with a central playlist/backup. I will post on this if I ever get it fully implemented.
