I’ve tried Amazon music several times in the past but their app is horrible! Doesn’t play songs you queue up, randomly skips songs and crashes frequently. I give it a try maybe once every couple months just because Garth Brooks is exclusively with Amazon music but every single time I try using the app it’s still crap. I don’t think they really care either. Reviews on the play store are always negative and have been for like 5 years now lol.
I’d NEVER pay for it but FREE for 3 months is fine. I don’t listen to music much anymore. Podcasts only via Overcast.
Use a different email and name.
Meh, not that big of a deal for me, to jump thru hoops I’ll pass, but at least twice a year they offer me free Prime for a month or 2 which includes music unlimited and I do that . .
Your thriftiness rivals mine. I get Prime FREE once or twice a year and right before Black Friday, I start fiddling with Amazon to let them know I’m lurking and BANG, Free Prime for 30 days. I have a list of all the Amazon stuff I need and order it all with Free shipping then quit.at the end of 30 days. It’s the principal of the thing and the thrill of the hunt.
That is awesome! I’ve been thinking of cancelling Prime for at least 2 years but have not. I was like but I need it for the Thursday night NFL games but no I don’t. I can get those easily on my IPTV services. I think I’m going to do it. There is nothing that I need to have delivered in 2 days or less and I can get all their content on KODI or my IPTV VOD
I posted this on a different thread this morning but I logged into Amazon with a different email and they offered Prime FREE for 30 days on that email too. I’m making a list of the few things I need that I missed on Black Friday. You gotta shop and throw stuff in your shopping cart sometimes to make the FREE offer pop up. They think they’re fooling us but we got them figured out.
Also saw Audible is .99/month and will work for 3 months. If you like audio books, this is A DEAL! You get 1 free book to keep FOR LIFE each month on the Audible app and then there are also a ton of books you can listen to FREE in addition to the FREEBIE book you can keep each month. So 3 free books for .99 x 3, then you CANCEL. Great stuff.
@GraceWilson have you heard of Z Library? You can make a $5 donation and have 30 days of unlimited book downloads and they have every book you can find in a bookstore. I have them automatically sent to my Amazon Kindle and I own them forever. A bit of work to figure out on the front end but highly worth it. And like Annie’s Archive they got busted a while back but are still in business with several Mirror sites

My REQUIREMENT is being able to listen to the book vs. read. Are there audio books and apps that enable them to be played vs. read?
I don’t do Audiobooks and checked out a few titles but didn’t see any Audiobooks in Z Library. I googled if they had them and it said they did but who knows
