Amazon blocking apps on Firestick

NP  Go to settings applications, manage applications ,go the application you want click up it’s above and you’ll see permissions no turn off only on to update

so do i allow all media files

Depends on the app, but usually Kodi or Stremio , as examples, will require access to all your files .

I believe the Downloader code for the Troypoint Toolbox is 250931

thanks, i found it forgot were it was haven’t used it in a while.

so now i am thinking i am going to switch to onn ( with all these changes coming with the fire device moving away from android interface it’s not worth the work anymore)….there’s is onn Android TV 4K UHD Streaming Device with Voice Remote Control & HDMI Cable on amazon for $ 88 is has 32 gb. is it worth it . I mean price wise…..the stick is $49.99 at my local walmart 2 1/2 drive.lol

Walmart .com

I’d stay away from the stick. Get the Onn 4k Plus box if its available.

is there a difference between the 4k plus and uhd , been trying to 4k plus here on walmart.ca (canada) but no go. would android box work as well?

Ultra High Definition (UHD) is a consumer-friendly term used to denote a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is exactly four times the resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels).
4K resolution, on the other hand refers to a resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels, slightly wider than UHD due to its 17:9 aspect ratio compared to UHD’s 16:9.
The most straightforward way to distinguish between UHD and 4K is by looking at the pixel count.
UHD boasts a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, while true 4K offers 4096 x 2160 pixels.
This slight increase in horizontal pixels translates to a 256-pixel difference, which, while not drastic, enhances the detail and clarity of the image, particularly on larger screens or projection systems.
A visual comparison reveals that UHD displays are perfect for home viewing, where the 16:9 aspect ratio aligns with most TV shows and movies.
In contrast, 4K’s 17:9 ratio is more suited for professional and cinematic use, providing a wider field of view and accommodating the artistic visions of filmmakers.

You can not go wrong with either the ONN 4K Plus or ONN 4K Pro Boxes

Yes, I just got that message on FilmPlus and Cinema. Im always VPN, how did they do that?

Nothing to do with VPN, it’s in the stick code to call home and snitch!

Ive had both those apps on this stick 4K Max for more than two years. Why is it just happening? Should I uninstall and reinstall?

I just loaded my 1st ONN box as a test and I am so impressed with it that I am sure that it will become my go to device. I don’t have great internet but my speeds with the Onn are twice what they were with my firestick.

The remote is a little different but nothing earth shattering to get used to

I downloaded the cloner app for Cinema on my firestick and it didn’t seem to work. Once installed, the screen was stuck on the Cinema screen and wouldn’t go to the following screen for TV/Movie section.

@philliesfan4211 Here’s what we’re trying to say: Amazon declared WAR on streaming 3rd party apps … GET A DIFFERENT DEVICE !

Will be doing that soon. Thanks.

did you get yours cinema fixed
