Welcome back to cable: All your streaming services have ads now
It was inevitable ads would come to “challenger” streaming services eventually. It only makes the case for streaming apps i.e. Kodi, Stremio, paired with Real Debrid, even stronger.

Yep saw that last night on the 9ers game…
At least services like Netflix has reduced cost options for ad supported subs. I imagine Amazon won’t be offering discount subs on Prime for ad marketing. 
Well, Amazon FreeVee has always had ads… way too many of them.
So this is a harbinger of things to come…
3 bucks a month to be ad free
If you pay for ad-free Prime Video, that fee should also give the ability to freely add custom launchers, etc to the Firestick line. A little more bang for your buck.
