Just getting into this and already I’m confused. Is this for Android or windows. Quote: System Requirements: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11 and .NET Framework 4.6 or higher.
So Windows or Androud, which is it?
Ahh ya. Finally found that info deep inside their site links. So you need A Windows computer to install this on. Ok. That’s me out. Looks interesting though.

its using windows to modify android

You get access to your android device thru your network and computer and do the tweaks correct?

yes, adb is the method

Thank you for clarifying that. I’m sure that will be quite helpful.

Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing what it can do. :slightly_smiling_face:

If you’ve tested this, is it anything like connecting to your Android device using WinSCP?

I dont use windows so I cant verify the method. I use scrpy usually from linux for this type. I just stumbled into this method over at the xda forums.

Ah yes, I remember you saying you were a Linux user. Oh well, reading all about it first then, lol

very interesting thx

I’ve used ADB to completely clone a Firestick. A Windows PC connects to and downloads all apps from one Stick to a folder, and the folder contents are then uploaded by ADB to a second Stick.

Nice work. It seems like not many people have and use actual computers anymore! :computer: :+1:t2:

I’m one of those, no computer. I do have a chromebook but rarely even open it.

Guess I’m oldschool, love my laptops and desktops. Just so much easier to work on. Seems funny, 15 years ago everybody had computers but no smartphones…now everybody has smartphones but no computers.

I cant break from my linux desktop but so happy I ditched windows many years ago. I am currently very in to android tablets as I see them really improving and very tweakable, easy to sandbox apps and believe it or not pretty secure if you leave out the bloat. Im waiting on the new google pixel tablet due out soon.

I’m dying to see someone use this on a Max to see how much affect it will have on the Amazon bloat. I know you can’t actually remove them but it sure would be interesting to see what it can do. I hope a linux version may also be out soon.

Maybe @TROYPOINT can give it a spin :joy: :grimacing:

I’d jump right in if I had a win doze comp. I keep 1 Max fully loaded as a demo and don’t mind experimenting on it. If it bricks, ooops. :exploding_head: :computer:
