Ok I’ve searched for topics on this and found none. I have two 4k max firesticks purchased last year. I run thru a marantz receiver. Both have stuttering sound issues and I can’t figure out why? My older firestick 4k works just fine hooked up the same way. Could it be possible I just bought a couple bad ones?? Any help greatly appreciated.
Instead of using the “best possible” setting under sound try, Always use Dolby Digital Plus.

Didn’t work. Seems to be only an issue with Kodi add ons. Cinema works fine.
Ok I thought I’d reset my older 4k max to factory defaults. Reloaded Kodi and installed Fen. Everything works fine except sound. If I change streams or go to next episode the sound stutters. My old 4k stick doesn’t have this issue. I’ve switched to Dolby plus from best available and that didn’t work. Could it have something to do with my external drive? I have switched it back and forth from the stick to thumb drive but no difference. I thought I knew a lot about this stuff but I’m lost. Guess I’ll just go back to my 4k stick
