I am clicking on 4K links and am getting sound but no picture.
Speed test shows more then 100 so not the problem.
Any ideas and thanks for all everyone does to help us out.
What device and are you sure your media player has all the necessary codecs?
Firestick 4K max
I noticed a Hybrid in the description so I tried another one without that and it worked.
What does hybrid mean? And thanks so much for your help
Hybrid could mean mix of codecs. Some have DV and HDR as an example but that’s just a guess as I’ve never seen that.
Source content that is coded for Dolby Vision won’t display on an incompatible display. You’ll get audio but either no video or you’ll get a green screen.
HDR10+, despite being a Samsung backed codec, is backwards compatible with base HDR10 displays and will render just fine
DV will not, so double check the source material for what codec is being used.
Any links that have “DV” (Dolby Vision) in the title won’t play unless you have a Dolby Vision compatible device like the Nvidia Shield. If your device is compatible you could try different players and see if that helps.
