4K fire stick remote stopped working i’ve changed the batteries. Unplugged it for five minutes. Not sure quite what to do. It’s only about a year old.

You can also install “Fire TV” on your phone. It’s an app that turns your phone into a firestick remote. You could also get a mini keyboard, and if you get one with a dongle (1.4 Ghz) then you’ll need an OTG cable.

My 4k remote did the same thing and I downloaded the Fire TV remote for my iPhone and it worked great. However the next day I see my wife using the 4k remote and I asked her what she did to it and she said she just started using it and it was working again. Very strange and it is still working fine.
