The average home internet user needs only change default settings etc on new equipment. Set up the security options to fit your needs and be cautious on what information you store/share from your device. Add additional security software and use a little common sense. There are very few devices, OS or softwares that don’t have some vulnerability. If we took every bit of advice found on the internet as gospel, we’d be as well not going online.
