Wolf launcher possible malware

Hi Team. I’ve recently downloaded Wolf launcher 0.1.9 from the Troypoint folder, next I scanned wolf launcher with both Defsquid and Virus total. Both reported wolf launcher to be malicious/harmful.
1)Has anyone else experienced this issue
2) Can it be confirmed to be an actual issue
3) is their a solution

I do like the wolf launcher interface and have removed it for the moment

Thats a false positive, nothing to worry about.

Just a quick question why are bot defsquid and virus total reporting it to be malicious when it’s harmless

Not sure about virus total but something in the signature and defsquid is junk IMHO.

As with many other applications, this was cloned from another Launcher. So, the new signature by the new dev on the app isn’t the same as the original dev. Nothing to worry about. It is clean. You will see the same with the new TROYPOINT Kodi 19.4 Fork. Nothing wrong with it, I’m just not the original developer…Kodi is.
