is this the first thanksgiving that detroit’s game will actually be interesting?
lol
It’s HARD to believe, Detroit has won 11 straight. In 2008 they were 0-16
Can’t believe Liverpool fc didnt get a like.
Anyway do the Americans always support multiple teams ,i mean i dont get someone supporting a team who has no affiliation whatsoever to a team ,the area he grew up,went to the games with dad etc.Its like me supporting Arsenal. Do you lot have tribalism, Can’t stand any other team for any reason .Be interesting to hear some answers. Im not winding anybody up just genuinely interested.
American here and I agree with you. Going off Topic but a Huge Boston Red sox Fan and can’t stand the Yankees or Mets! Now your Liverpool owner (John Henry) is the same owner of my Red Sox and ever since he bought LiverPool FC my Red Sox have sucked because he has to pay your blokes and their salaries are much More than Amercian Baseball. Not a huge soccer fan but my favorite EPL team is Man City…Go Pep!
I’ll just say that all my teams are my closest local teams and I never wavered. Unfortunately for me that means the Jets, Mets and Rangers. If I cared about Basketball, the Knicks as well.
That is a Total of 2 combined Championships in my lifetime (86 Mets and 94 Rangers). The Jets won in January and I was born 11 months later so i cant count that even if it was the same year. And the 69 Mets was 2 months before i was born.
Had i been raised in a different part of the city i probably would have rooted for the NY Giants and the Damn Yankees. But it is what it is and i support my teams even when its mostly “wait till next year”.
Ive had to witness multiple Yankee WS, 3 Giants SBs, 4 Islanders SC and 3 NJ Devils SC. And thats just the local teams.
But in the end they are all just games.
