Heres the one I have for what itās worthā¦it works ok for me. Dont use it much though.
So my 2nd Pro just crashed again for the second time. I really donāt know why this happens. I have had other boxes from cheap to expensive that have never crashed. I have had people tell me it could be the power source to the launchers. I was running apps only and had the same aps most use like Stremio. Kodi, TM etc. I have Surfshark that works well. Sometimes my IPTV works well with SS, sometimes I have to turn it off. This time when the Onn crashed I couldnāt even get it to pair with the remote after factory reset. The problem with this is it has worked well for over 3 weeks until yesterday. I went through and set it up by Troyās video so nothing different. My internet is adquate, at least 50 down. Waiting for my cheap boxes from China to play with and then Iāll start looking at a good , established box
It does sound like a power issue. Is it directly plugged in to the wall?
Never been a fan of usb power so yes directly into the wall
looking at the power cord and the amps out are only 1.5 whereas the majority of replacement cords on Amazon are usually 2amps. Could this be an issue?
possible. Do you have the setup guide that came with it? I cant find mineā¦probally threw it away 
just checked mine and its a wall plug, not usb
Probably threw it away also. It says to place it at least 12 inches away from devices and mine usually sits on a plateform on the TV. Donāt know why this would be an issue.
looks like the majority of them use the 5.5 x 2.1 input jack. So might get one, their cheap, and see if this is the problem. Strange the Onn would have only 1.5 output while all others have a min of 2
Yes, I thought that was strange. RF issues or issues with the WiFi, maybe?

Hi friends, I hope Iām posting in right place, I searched for this topic but didnāt find any results. I installed a new onn. 4k pro box to replace my old one which died on me not too long ago. I installed Kodi 21.1 omega from Troyās toolbox. Iāve been reinstalling my repos and video addons following Troyās guidesā:grinning:
. My problem is with my onn. 4k pro remote when playing movie or TV videosā¦ it doesnāt allow me to pause, or show menu where I can select subtitles, change size of screen, or select any other audio/video options, etcā¦
I was always able to pause, but now it stops the video and takes me back to where I started and have to select the video again to play it. Sorry this is so long I didnāt know how to explain it in shorthand 
A lot of people have had the same problem with their onn in 4k Pro. I canāt remember what the answer was or what the solution was but you do a little bit more research Iām sure youāll come across the topic.

It seems Iām only having the problem with playing Kodi addon videos like The Crew & Seren so far. Using the remote for settings, etcā¦ works fine

What addons are you using? I can try on my 4k pro to see if they work. i havent had any issues with the remote not working during playback.
Does anything happen when you hit the center button?
There was an issue with kodi 20.3 or 20.4 (i forget) and some remotes not working correctly but that was resolved a while ago. Not sure if thats what @AJS1 is referring to.
Just tested both of the addons and they both worked fine.
Are you sure you are using your NEW remote with the onn 4k pro? Not sure if they are compatible with each other but maybe you mixed them up.
Just a wild guess while we try to figure it out. Not even sure if it possible for an onn 4k remote to work on a Onn 4k Pro.
Yeah I did a search on Google, and put Troy point in the subject matter usually itāll bring it up but this time it didnāt.
