Yes, I am well aware of the video and suggestions. As you may have seen in my original post, I purchased a fixed IP address from SS. It works usually. The IP address from an external country works most of the time as well. My old standby, IP Vanish worked without any disruptions using local US servers. IP Vanish also worked with one of the email providers we use as opposed to SS that obfuscates the Port used when contacting the outgoing email server (smtpauth.earthlink.net). While SS likely provides a more secure VPN tunnel than IP Vanish, its use defeated the core issue I contacted SS support about. Port obfuscation is not addressed by Troy’s explanation. In any event, he provided a good quick work around for many users. Thank you for your input.

So I’m assuming windows has that entire spectrum of options?
Windows certainly has all the goodies in the program. And at the special price for a two year sub, it’s cheap. Enjoy
