I have a Sony Bravia Oled with a fancy Cognitive Processor XR. It supposedly runs various algorithms that enhances the picture quality.

I’ve installed my streaming apps into the TVs internal operating system and everything works great. Picture looks wonderful watching various resolution streams.

My question is would I lose that enhanced capability if I hooked up my FireStick 4k device? I guess what I am asking, does the FS do all of the video processing or does it get passed to the TVs video processor as well? Also the TV uses Android TV OS 10.

This is above my pay grade for understanding.

Should work for any source as far as I know. Doesn’t matter whether it’s on the internal operating system or an external source.
