So I’ve discovered one hiccup and was wondering if you get the same problem or I’m just blessed😅 If I pause a stream, I can resume playback without a problem as long as I don’t pause for too long. If I pause too long which seems to be about 10 minutes, the screen will start to jitter and if I try to resume playback it either freezes or gets so jittery I have to back out of stream and restart video and it plays fine again. This happens on all apps it seems, Smarttube, Weyd, Rumble, Kodi etc.
Good day @PapaS You know I don’t have one but I’m just throwing this out there. Is there a “suspend” setting that is trying to shut down your screen after X minutes of inactivity? Kinda sounds like that especially as it happens with all apps. The system may be trying to suspend the screen but the app is trying to prevent that, thus the jitter. Just throwing 
at the wall to see if anything sticks.

The Power key is set to sleep when pressed but I’m not pressing it and my screensaver is set for 24hrs. 
Lost on this one. Already messaged UGOOS and they responded same day asking what device, what firmware, what app does it happen on, so I sent back details with a video of what I’m experiencing.

Haven’t had that problem so I couldn’t say if it is something with an app setting or device setting. I have had the power key on my box set on either sleep or shutdown settings without an issue. Ya, I know, I’m a big help. 
While I think of it, when you hit the power button, does your tv turn on and off with the SK1? My LG does and I didn’t even have to pair it with the remote.
Same here but Samsung TV and my power key is on sleep also.
Could be not enough holes drilled?

I found a work around at least for know that seems to be working 
It seems to happen right around 10 minutes of being paused so I set the screensaver for 5 minutes then I went and paused a video, waited about 12 minutes and when I pressed a button to make the screensaver go off the stream resumed playback properly.

Alrhough i am using AM8, i had a similar problem. Im sure that both devices are similar in this respect on power menu.
Mine is set as per the images, and i have never experienced this again.
The sleep function did initially cause problems if activated in power settings. Screensaver time is different to yours.
But the power settings work fine on mine and my friends device.

I changed my power setting to shutdown instead of sleep, I hope this does the trick. It’s weird you were experiencing the same thing on sleep. I’ll know in the next 24hrs or so when I end up doing a long pause😅
I noticed at the bottom of your pic you have max performance mode turned on, is it better to have that on? Asking because I’m clueless

You’re very welcome. Just some background to these settings.
A friend of mine spent some hours experimenting with power settings, when we got our devices last September.
And the sleep function did initially create some weird issues, when trying to turn the box on, after turning it off.
We eventually discovered that the settings i sent you, worked best.
I never use the sleep function and just turn the box on or off as required. And the boot up time is 18 seconds.
I asked Ugoos about the max performance mode, and they said, to turn it on as it performed faster.
One other tip, that i found makes the box faster when switching between apps, or using search engine, is: settings>panels and interface> animations. I have all mine set to .5x
You will see the difference when you select apps, and just how quickly the device responds.

Well I just did a long pause and it’s still freezing when I try to resume. Oh well, I still love the box other than that.

Just one thought; did you power off your device, and then reboot, after changing the settings i sent?

One other setting to check. Setting>device preferences >power> energy saver>" turn off display> " Never"

Ugoos are great boxes, well made…but very raw before you get them all tweaked…then beast mode.

Hi TXRon. Yep…absolutely love it.
Took a while to tame it, but a great learning experience. Latest version update not so good, so reverted back to 1.3.5
Sent my findings to Eugene at Ugoos with all the faults on audio failures.
But…still a great box. Hope yours is also running as you want.
