Ok I see, you meant TV OS . It’s 6:30am and I just woke up. Takes me some time to catch on lol.
Yeah most TVs have low RAM. Usually 2GB and the lag is painful. The other answer is that we are tv box geeks
Android TVs are very sluggish and comes with lack of storage. If you try to add storage to a Android TV, it’s even more sluggish. I’ll stick with my Nvidia shields
Im a strong believer in letting the Tvs do what they do best. Use a separate device for streaming. Operating systems on tvs are slow and basic. /// Side note Onn 4k works great.
I have a JVC 43 inches smart tv with google tv and since 1 year no problem and work very well with no buffering and Netflix and Prime work also very well with no buffering!
I have tivimate and work great!
A smart TV is usually not that good., However I have two new LGs Smart TVs which are attached to MeCool streamers. The web os is nice to have if nothing worth watching is on my MeCool. The MeCool streamers offer all of Google TV channels and the LG OS Webb channels are available directly from the the Smart TV logic,. . Frankly there are more channels to watch than there is time in a day. To change from streamers to Smart all I do is select my input device. I have added Roku as a second input when needed.
