I’m new at this, so if i turn off auto update do i still need to update manually or don’t update at all, because of sideloading. I use tivimate for my iptv and i don’t want to lose being able to use it.
You can leave auto update on so that apps update but use the “Update Blocker” to run the adb script to disable the Amazon Firestick Updates. Just remember moded apps will not update and most side loaded apps may not depending if an updater is coded onto the app so that when one is available and you open the app you may be presented with an update message and will need to go into settings to allow the app to install updates.
