Have you tried stremio with torrentio, as they have added torbox now. Im getting quite a few links.
I also installed pov addon in kodi and linked it to torbox and that is working fine.
Yup. Tried everything. Tried reinstalling Torbox and getting nothing now (it’s giving a API key error). Don’t think I’ll be continuing my subscription with Torbox!
TorBox Statement and Apologies
Hello r/TorBoxApp I understand the past few days haven’t been what we’d hope for, and that our communication has been less than stellar. This post will hopefully shed some light as to what has been going on, what we’re doing in the short term, and what we plan to do in the future.
First I want to thank our users who have stuck with us through this turbulent time, and I want to apologise to those we have let down. Your support through this past year has been tremendous and we owe everything TorBox is today, to you. We dropped the ball, and take full responsibility for that.
Last week TorBox faced an unprecedented surge in new users joining the platform, one we were wholly unprepared to deal with. Despite this we reacted quickly to have more capacity come online to meet the rapidly growing demand we were anticipating this week. By Monday morning, we were expecting our first delivery of upgrades to arrive but they never did, and still have not. We had placed a second order the day prior on Sunday too, expecting it to at least arrive before the end of this week but that also has not materialised. Numerous requests for information, countless follow ups and even detective sleuthing by our Discord community members following the waybill tracking yielded nothing. We are still trying to get to the bottom of this to understand what went wrong so we can avoid this in the future - but ultimately it leaves us in a position where we are out of cards to play.
TorBox is a small project run by a modest team, backed by a fantastic community, and funded completely by our users. This means up until this point, our operating budget was heavily constrained by our size, and it limited the resources we had available to quickly scale our infrastructure to meet changing demand. In the past this was never an issue, as we always planned well enough ahead of time to make sure we could protect the integrity of our platform and absorb any unforeseen delays without impacting users.
We did everything we could have done to try and keep the service online with the capacity we had available, such as pausing sign ups, reducing our users’ transfer speeds, and disabling some non-core features to redirect those resources where they were critically needed, but none of those things were enough to handle the loads we faced. Our infrastructure was simply not enough to cope and our users suffered.
While we continue our efforts to restore our systems to normal operations, we do not have a reliable timeline we are confident enough to share, so instead of giving out false hope, we are offering all of our users the option to receive a full refund. It’s just the right thing to do in this situation, and in the future we would love to welcome you back to experience TorBox at its best.
Just send an email to contact@torbox.app letting us know you’d like to receive a refund and please remember to include your TorBox account email.
We understand many of you signed up during our 30% off promotion, and that some of you may feel that by requesting a refund you forfeit the discount. To ensure this isn’t the case, we will bring back the promotion once our situation is under control to give everyone a chance to try out TorBox again at a great price. Onboarding new users will remain paused until we are sure TorBox is where our users expect it to be, and as compensation for the continued downtime, we will be automatically crediting all active subscriptions with time equal to twice the number of days of downtime experienced.
Thank you all again for the incredible support and patience you’ve shown. TorBox isn’t going anywhere.
I have no idea what your product/service is but applaud you for handling the situation in this manner. I wish more companies were so aware of their sub base and how to treat them. Bravo!
I concur MarkxG and also have no idea what their product/service is. My interest is piqued now, however, and will do more research to find out if this is something I need, and or if it will help with my setups.

However, at present they have disabled signups until they get their issues sorted with the influx of new users.
Well, at least they are being honest and up-front about it. Quite a rarity in today’s business environment!
Interested to see how this all plays out.
Yep, nice to see they are being truthful, looks like they’re having growing pains and might not work with some of the most popular addons tho from what I gather reading this topic. Understandable, it has to be a huge undertaking to go from a “small project” to dealing with A LOT of new members.
