So if I configure stremio with torbox will my addon presently pointing to Real-Debrid change?
Another question. I have Surfshark pointing at an ip address in Canada and when I look at my CDN section in Torbox. It has the default set to US Central(CNAM). Will this work out?
Actually when I do a speed test it shows up as CNAM(CDN) which I assume is for my Canadian site so it should work, I think.
Hello…I’m using tb with umbrella and pov…umbrella works great …i get no results with pov..I’ve scanned the linking states active in my services any thoughts
And it states active
I had the same problem. Someone on here pointed out what was likely the issue.
Go to settings:POV>Sources
Make sure external scrapers are on.
Scroll down to the “Source” section.
Toggle ‘on’ everything from piratebay down to zilean.
Thanks for reply..my solution was in setting>pov settings>source>enable tb
I had connected tb with link.but this also has to be enabled.
Thank you for the great work up Umbrella! You had me at lack of strict IP enforcement.
I am old school UseNet guy but I wasn’t sure how to implement in TorBox, considering you can search UseNet for your media. So… here is little primer on how to do that:
To add a custom indexer (like NZBGeek or NZBPlanet) to your TorBox setup, you have two main ways to do it. You can either add it directly to the TorBox Dashboard so it appears in your searches there, or you can integrate it via Stremio for a better streaming experience.
Option 1: Add to TorBox Dashboard (Recommended for Searches)
This method allows TorBox’s “Voyager” search engine to use your private indexer results directly.
-
Get your API Key: Log in to your indexer (e.g., NZBGeek) and find your API Key and Base URL (usually in your profile or API settings).
-
Open TorBox Settings: Go to your TorBox Settings and look for the Search section.
-
Add New Search Engine: Click the “Add New Search Engine” button.
-
Fill in the Details:
-
Search Engine URL: Enter the base API URL of your indexer (e.g., https://api.nzbgeek.info).
-
API Key: Paste your private API key.
-
Type: Select the software your indexer uses—most private indexers use Newznab, but if you are using a personal manager, you might select Prowlarr or NZBHydra2.
-
Download Type: Select NZBs.
-
-
Save & Test: Click “Add Search Engine”. You can then use the “Check Config” button to make sure TorBox can successfully talk to your indexer.
Option 2: Using Custom Indexers in Stremio (AIOStreams)
If you want your custom indexer links to show up specifically inside Stremio, the best way is through the AIOStreams addon.
-
Configure AIOStreams: Go to the AIOStreams configuration page.
-
Enable Newznab: In the marketplace/addons section of the config, find and enable the Newznab addon.
-
Input Credentials: It will ask for your indexer’s name, URL, and API key.
-
Link TorBox: On the debrid/cloud page, ensure your TorBox API Key is entered.
-
Install: Once you install this configured addon to Stremio, you will see links from your indexer, which TorBox will then download and stream for you.
my question is about seeding.. how does it work and anyway of controlling it?
You can turn seeding on or off or auto in your TorBox dashboard integration settings.
