Got a notice on my Tivimate app that there is an update and would I like to install the update.

Installed and nothing but a black screen appeared. Even after letting it sit for a while, same black screen
This is on an nVidia Shielt Pro with tons of external memory

Latest version Tivi is 4.2. But im going out on a limb here and thinking its the shield causing issues. Ive seen no real issues with tivimate and tons of nvidea probs related to shield updates.

Like TXRon said…lots of gremlin posts here since Nvidia’s update.
Interestingly, with lots of time on my hands this morning, I uninstalled Tivimate, installed from Troypoint with the same black screen.
Uninstalled again and installed from an Unlinked library and it all worked.
Had to re-authorize from the Tivimate companion but all good now.

I was going to suggest that as I frequently do it from my KM6 to my old firestick…backup my tivi data on the KM6, save to file…clear data on the firestick tivi…then just download tivi & activate again…restore data from the file…voila’, a cloned tivimate for my old firestick. Troy has a video on just that…but I couldn’t find it.
Anyway…good on ya for figuring out a fix
