If you are paying yearly and wish to go to lifetime. Then you will first need to turn off auto renew on Google. Then wait until your sub expires and renew with the lifetime option.
The only other way would be to just purchase a new sub and this time choose lifetime, but you will still need to turn off auto renew in Google.
