I tried searching using TVBro for an apk. I used APKPure and it sent me to the Play Store. You can clearly see it is not available for my Shields, but is for my tablet and phone.
Oh well. Sorry PF. I don’t doubt you and have no idea why you got that.

LOL…have absolutely no intention of holding my breath. I can’t even find an apk for it doing a google search. The only one who has the app is APKPure and it redirects to the Play Store. and so does the TVApp website.

You can easily make an app from your browser and then make a shortcut so it can appear on your home page.
Like I said before, I used TVBro to access the streaming website and then made an app from the setting in my browser. This would make an app that would appear in my all apps category but would not allow it to be on my favorites bar or app page. So I made a shortcut using the TVApp Repo so I could have the app at my disposal on my favorites bar.
Hey PF. I took a break from setting stuff up and I owe you an apology. I did use thetvapp(dot)to on my shield but it was through the browser. I mixed it up with the roku channel. That’ll teach me to try and multi task.
So yes you can watch it on the shield but you were right, the apk cannot be installed.

Here is my finished product of TheTVApp shortcut.
I used the TV App Repo: Tv App Repo (Android TV) 1.1.4-playstore APK Download by Felker Tech - APKMirror
Then used the Android TV / Fire OS App Launcher Builder: Generator for ATV-Launcher Apps (trekgonewild.de)
The Repo makes the shortcut, and the Launcher Builder makes the icon/banner.
I first chose an image I liked and tweaked a bit using PP. Then saved it to my desktop and sent the image to my device using Send Anywhere. Then just named the app and chose the banner icon file and click generate. You can customize any app icon any way you choose. It’s fun!
