If anyone wants to know about the original series, the premise of this, you can pm me. Telling the name in here would be a spoiler for those who have not reached that part yet when the light turns on.
I will watch the last episode tonight but wow on the acting…top notch by that kid. ![]()
I’m actually kind of surprised more folks weren’t aware of this series. It and Black Bird are two Apple + gems imo.
I’m still trying to catch up on the 90’s movies…my lost decade

Yes, it’s a mini-series
Thank you @BobLoewe . Not sure why you’re telling me this? My comment was to confirm that I had the correct series. But thank you.

I’ll watch the last episode tonight. I have a feeling how this will go. After that I will watch the original 4 ep serious that this one was born from.
Slow isn’t the word, more like convoluted snails pace.
I hate shows that start like this, making no sense, by the actions of the story line.
We have someone who for some reason is a suspect of a crime, where the police turn up on the doorstep of some random house and a trickcyclist / defective decides she can ask him all sorts of impertinent questions to get some sort of story line.
Makes no sense to me.
All due respect to those who like it, but I don’t intend watching four episodes of this drivel to see if I like it.
The actors may be OK, but the story line sucks.
With streaming, it’s great to have so many choices that are not dictated by which ever network one subscribes to. I’ve tried to watch several recommended shows finding that I didn’t like it for some reason. I just moved on.
I’ve just watched the first two episodes and found that the build up was taking a bit of time. But I feel that that build gave an insight into the main characters frame of mind. I will say that I cringed at some of the things that he did. Mainly thinking back when I was his age and the influences that a young man would be faced with at that age. So I felt a connection in so many ways, knowing that a bad decision could change ones life. So I was able to relate even though I didn’t agree with the things he did.
I agree and did move on to other programs that are more to my taste.
I must admit I am more than a little OCD when it comes to story lines, I do like them to make sense and do cringe at others that don’t.
I will of course look at any other recommendations on here as I have in the past, many of them, which I have enjoyed immensely.
Love the trailer. On list to must watch. Thx for sharing.
Personally I had already read that the first few episodes were slow but they were used perfectly to set up what was to follow. The fact that this is based on a true story and set a precedence back in the 70’s was great. The show is absolutely worth waiting as it all comes together soon enough. At that point, you will be thankful you didn’t stop watching it. For those who have, if you want to see the where this came from, you can easily find this. I have it saved and will watch it soon. Monsters Inside: The 24 Faces of Billy Milligan
** There, it’s not a spoiler really but maybe an incentive for those who are about to miss one of the better mini series out there in years.
