!Surfshark Log-In Problems SOLVED!

Surfshark started giving me log-in problems.
First, it said that my email address was the “wrong format”, (which made no sense to me).
Next, it said that my email address & password were “not available at this time”.
I could log into my Surfshark account with a desktop pc, but not so with my Firestick app.
I was locked out!
I MANAGED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
Here are the steps that worked for me:

  1. Go into Firestick manage applications.
  2. Force stop Surfshark.
  3. Clear Data of Surfshark.
  4. Clear Cache of Surfshark.
  5. Reboot Firestick.
  6. Log-in, (successfully).
    I hope this info will be helpful for others who are struggling with the same problem.

FYI another great way to log in providing you have shark on other devices is the log in with code option.

Congratulations on solving this, however this is the best step for all apps when having issues. Its part of runtine maintenance.
