Storage Issues with latest FS 4K Max

Setting up new FS for the first time and new issues pop up every day. Today, Iā€™m installing Movie/TV apks, example FilmPlus, and trying to restore my favorites from old FS to new FS. First of all, every time I enter FilmPlus, it asks me about storage, I say yes to no avail, it asks me again and again. I have allowed storage in Permissions for the app. It still asks the question upon entering the app. Also, when I try to do a restore or even a test backup of one favorite, it fails as I have a storage issue message pop up.

So, does anyone have a solution, or is this yet another new FS failing? Or is there another way to grant permission to storage?
