The Sideload Launcher is scanning with DefSquid as malicious.

I installed it from Troypoint Rapid App installer.
I uninstalled it, reinstalled it from another site and it scanned the same again.
Its probably a false positive, nothing on the rai is malicious, the team does their best to supply you with good stuff or recommend safe software.

This peaked my interest too as I keep a very close eye on apps that exhibit even the slightest amount of weirdness. Now, i’ve never seen sideload launcher do anything untoward (pcap’s etc) and it’s not flagged anywhere else other than defsquid deep scan feature. I’d love to know more about their detection capabilities because virustotal sees nothing.
UPDATE: It’s detected as android.gugi which is a nasty trojan. However I still believe this to be an FP. Each to their own, i’ve decided to remove it because of the other things found in defsquids deep scan feature it’s picked up remarkably accurate modules inside of exe’s such as adlibrary’s and author packages.
