I currently have a FireTV that I bought in 2017. Is it worth upgrading?
In hindsight I would buy anything but. The devices are cheap but they are loaded with bloatware and the stock launcher is filled with “suggested content”. Plus you have the added expense of at least a usb drive and otg cable if you want to increase storage space. But if cheap and useable is all you’re looking for I’d go for the regular 4K firestick. For casual streaming the new one doesn’t provide any extra benefit and it costs more. If you use the debloat tool that’s in the TP rapid app installer and also use Wolf Launcher then you’ll be set.
