Is there a way to determine if the sd card in my Samsung S4 Tab is formatted as internal memory?
If it isn’t added storage via a hub, for example, then it is internal memory.

The easiest way is to go into settings and click on storage. It’ll be showing internal storage but you can click on it and select the sdcard. If it says format as portable you know it is and if it says format as internal then you know it’s not. The truth is if you format a drive as internal nothing else but that device can read it unless you format it again.
Yeah that’s actually a good file manager. Had it been formatted for a different device though most likely nothing would have recognized it other then the system file manager and only to either say it’s corrupted or needs to be formatted.
