Real-Debrid's Anti-Piracy Hit: How Fatal Was It?

I have year subs for Rd and Prem. I haven’t noticed any difference in either. When my sub is up I will probably go with Rd again because of price if they’re still in business…lol.
P.S. having the vpn is the key for me.

I would have gone back to them as well but not after they threatened to turn over streaming logs of those who they got mad at. How funny is that? The only reason they exist is for people streaming movies and tv shows. Can’t trust them.

So you can’t trust a company that lets you use their services for illegal activities lol

The term illegal is open to interpretation based on where you live. USA, downloading yes but streaming probably not. Nonetheless I wouldn’t give them another dime based on their public threats to their users. I was trying to get across the fact that people don’t use them for any other reason like they were tyring to portray.

I’ve only streamed in kodi but, about to start downloading a lot content in IPTV.

Penelope sounds like an idiot and doesn’t deserve to use a service like RD.

Real Debrid is a legitimate file hosting service just so happens that many of their users use the service to access and maybe download copyrighted material.
I would think that downloading copyrighted material is illegal in the US.
I would also think streaming copyrighted material in the US could lead to a civil lawsuit from copyright holders in certain cases.

I also don’t understand how paying with crypto using coinbase is protecting you because coinbase have all your details and the payments lead back to you.

You sound like a RD employee or owner.

Agree that people requesting refunds or complaining about service not working are ridiculous but pushing out threats is just as bad.

That’s a funny statement as if this were true they would block these various apps and addons from using their service. 99% of their customers use the service for what everyone on this forum uses it for. Silly to think otherwise.

Point to a law that says streaming is illegal in the USA? Downloading and uploading yes but there is no law that says streaming is illegal. Everything that you read, it’s a gray area but you will never find a law that says it’s illegal.
