My Nvidia Shield keeps changing from the old version of the software and the new version. I see the change by the style of the Home Screen. There is no consistency it can change from format to format randomly. Thoughts?
That’s a new one never heard that before . Maybe do a factory reboot and start all over . Not a lot of fun have to re do everything but sometimes that’s all that works. Good luck let us know how you make out

I haven’t heard of the box downgraded it’s software and upgrading on its own randonly.
I would do what was suggest above then upgrade the firmware and software.
I have the same problem but it’s OK everything works fine
