How many addons can I install in Kodi 20.1. Currently, I just have one, Fen.
Can I add the Crew and others or just one at a time?

Theoretically, you can install as many as space would allow. However, I would highly recommend you keep it as slim and streamline as possible. Install a few main ones that you use, and call it a day.
Fen is working very well for me and I don’t really need any more addons, but then I liked The Crew too.

If you do everything right, there is no limit. I have a custom build with 42 addons. I’ve been running this for over a year with 0 issues.

If you only have one addon installed, I would keep a couple repos’s downloaded in reserve. That way if there is a glitch in your addon, other good addons are only a couple clicks away. I have two movie/tv addons installed with RD activated at all times. But I also have 4 good all-in-one repos downloaded just in case.

42 add-ons sound great, but it also sounds like it could be really cumbersome and slow everything down when you boot up? What hardware are you using for your 42 add-on build? How long does it take to boot up? Do you have automatic update turned off? Are they all enabled at the same time, or do you keep some of them disabled until needed to speed things up? (If that speeds things up–is disabling an add-on as good as removing it in terms of Kodi processing speed?) Sorry for bombarding you with all these questions!
It’s not anything for someone that wants instant open and go, on the buzz x5 when I open it I have the crew wizard setup to clean on every startup so for that and the posters to fill in it takes about 50 seconds then it’s just as zippy as a couple addons. I have all the addons on auto update. I don’t have any disabled addons but just today I uninstalled a bunch I never use and I’m at about 28 now. I was hoping it would speed up the waiting on opening but it still takes about 50 seconds.
