A renewed push for site blocking in the U.S. is underway with two bills aiming to restrict access to foreign pirate websites. The Foreign Anti-Digital Piracy Act (FADPA), introduced by Rep. I hope thatmit doesn’t pass, and that the push back makes them back due to lack of support. ISP show no interest in lowering their subscription rates, and by the time you purchased separate streaming services, you’re going to be paying the same, or even more money than you were already paying,so I’m all for Iptv. My question is, with our vpn on,will it keep our ISP from knowing that we’re using iptv, or will we remain anonymous?
I used Kodi for quite a few years until my husband got sick. With all the different streaming ways there are out there the cost of watching everything is ridiculous. And I have yet to come across providers that carry what I would like to see. I can understand to a degree the piracy issue. But I also feel that it infringes on my right as a person to be able to watch what I would like. I’m not sure if it would be worth my effort to try to update my Kodi software. And find new search engines with everything that’s going on. I would love to be able to follow one show I found. I also like watching older and unusual things. I use a VPN at all times And I’m not sure if that would be enough.I am sure there’s many other people in my position out there and I hope something can be done
Hi England1950, I’m very sorry to hear that your hubby is sick.
Let me see if i, or someone here, can help you out with getting the program that you are wanting to watch. You say that you are using Kodi. Is it working at all? And what device are you using to stream?
No kodi isn’t up-to-date. It is not that simple for me to do these installations The show I watched was Highway thru hell out of Canada. I have recently started enjoying things from BBC in the UK. I am using a Firestick on Roku tv. Thank you but my husband has passed. And thank you very much for your assistance
I am so very sorry to hear that. It just breaks my heart. My prayers are with you.
If you are able and willing to go through several of the tutorials on this site. I am certain that we can get the programs that will get you going in the right direction.
Please, if anyone wants to correct me on this PLEASE do so.
First step would be to update your Firestick.
Next, a quick question, is the Downloader app installed on your Firestick? You would find this on your opening screen. It will have a “D” icon. If not there then this is the link to get that.
Downloader App on Firestick, Android, Google TV, & More
Once you get that far we will need to load the Troypoint Toolbox. the code that you put in the search box is: 250931
Once you are in the tool box you will tab down a bit to find the links to load the latest Kodi version.
