Paradise Season 2 and The Night Agent Season 2 both recently out both very good
Night agent is Season 3 and both have been out since feb 19-23rd . Paradise has 2 episodes left in Season 2.
The Last Ship (shades if Covid), Strike Back, Banshee, Doc Martin, 19-2, Brokenwood, Foyleās War, Longmire, Slow Horses, Vera.
Key scarppeta good
I watched the Part 2 of One Mile last night. Was hoping for a more cataclysmic ending. It was good though.
Paradise is the only decent show out right now this is the first time in a long time as there isnāt multiple good shows playing simultaneously.
I agree. As far as TV series go, itās slim pickings. I do enjoy The Madison as well.
I actually hated Scarpetta. The story is good but why do they use the time shifting story line. Back to the past, then the present, then the past, then the present ad nauseum. For Peteās sake set the history of the character and then evolve the story to the present. The back and forth is ridiculous, annoying, and a pathetic way to evolve a story line, especially as often as this story does it and that is multiple times on every episode and I watched 4 and deleted it.
@Miki i agree with you I hate they do that shift back and forth forth watched 2 episodes donāt think I will be watching anymore
I find that most if not all of any new series coming out uses the time shift. Paradise is very good but does this on every single episode
I just watched the latest Paradise last night and donāt remember a time shift but if there was one it was brief. Scarpetta time shifts every other segment of an episode totally interrupting the flow of the story. I understand the occasional shift but not as a main theme of the story oh and good morning @SoloWarrior have a good day and hopefully buffer free. Ok off to the track. Stay warm. - 20 wind chill here again. Spring??
Time Shifts are the latest ātrendā (ooh i gotta do it that way) that help cover for poor writing/lack of good story line/etc.etc.etcā¦.once Tarantino came on the scene, hollyweird has been chasing something new but just canāt nail itā¦.

At the risk of Treason to the Cause I subscribe [pay money] for Acorn TV. Itās like $9 monthly but annually discounted to $90 [2 months free]. Itās some of the best Series & Movies from Uk, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Only a few of these are available on Stremio etc. There is great talent and thousands of hours of quality entertainment. New material added daily. No ads & great quality video at an affordable price.
BBC TV is another option but features mostly just UK source TV.
I have no idea where my Main IPTV provider is located but fairly sure itās outside the USA as they get a lot of non USA TV series. I have found the BBC Shows to be very good. They have shows like Blue Lights and the content is much more gritty than US based shows
I googled Treason to the Cause, thinking it was a series on Acorn ![]()

@Miki I liked the Madison at first but FFād through the last 3 episodes because it was the same old whining. I hate the son in law and his idiot spoiled wife. Donāt much care for Abby either.
SPOILER ALERT: DONāT READ IF YOU ARE GONNA WATCH THIS SHOW!!!
I was relieved by the final scene in episode 6 where the wife was back ALONE without the morons. I hope next season itās her alone on the ranch because I like all the ranch and town peeps.
It was all so sad. Made me cry. The entitled morons unfortunately are part of many ppls families, especially those that expect an inheritance just because they are family. I focused on the Mother and her grief as well as the story left behind in the journal. A lot of truths revealed in there, as well as true life lessons.
lol saw where they cancelled Star Fleet Academy. Season 2 was already in the can, but it will be the last. I canāt imagine why it got cancelledā¦. Something to do with a klingon in a dress. The idiots in hollywood just canāt get a clue.
Worst Star Trek series yet. Watched 3 of the first season then removed it and thatās saying a lot as Iām a trekky for 50 yrs.
Iāve read several times where the starring players say that when a series gains audience and the stars want a larger payout, the producers just cancel the project, pocket the money and move to the next project. Reruns make em money too
