New FIRMWARE MECOOL KM6 DELUX Sent to me

Hi. First of all… Many thanks for the replies from my last post.
I’ve still not looked at suitable backup options yet has anybody else done one recently?
I sent an email to MECOOL lastweek requesting the latest firmware update for my KM6 DELUXE but I didn’t hear anything back so I sent another one waking them up! This time they replied with the latest firmware update! It also looks like I will have to do a reset “after” the update so they say. So I will need to make a backup. I make backups of my computer regulary so I should backup my KM6.
Once I’ve done a backup and know it works (I will do a backup test on my other M9 PRO box first I think just in case) I will post here of my exploits.

Please do…as a fellow KM6’er I’d be interested to see what a 2+yr old update looks like

I’d also be interested in how you backup your box…as I too backup my laptop on a regular basis
