I have 3 separate services and have lost EPGs on all 3 at the same time, they will not restore when I update.
I am using an ONN 4K plus box, tivimate pro, a 250 GB USB drive and Tivimate Pro. I recently switched from Surfshark to Nord VPN (long story). Turning VPN on/off does not restore EPGs.
I am using IpTV editor. I tried to re-add the EPGs from Editor with no results.
In Tivimate I tried to assign an EPG to a channel but Tivimate said “no channels.”
I really think this is a Tivimate issue but I’m at a loss. Any suggestions?
Hmm this is a strange one. I highly doubt this is a Tivimate issue as lots of us here use Tivimate and it’s working fine. And the fact that this happened to 3 different services so don’t think this is a provider issue. A VPN has nothing to do with this. Been streaming for 10 years without a VPN it’s not needed but that’s another discussion for another day. I use MyEPG and I believe IPTV Editor is a similar product. I don’t know how an EPG supplement could cause this but it’s the only thing I see that could here. Does IPTV editor have a ticketing or Telegram page? Perhaps you could check there?
If it says there aren’t any channels then somehow you are being blocked. I suggest switching VPN locations, so say you have a server on the west coast try switching to one on or near the east coast, maybe even a foreign one in Europe. Netherlands maybe. Test a few out. I have Nord and no issues at the moment.
Miki he said he tried it without a VPN as well and still had the same issues. What would a VPN have anything to do with the EPG in Tivimate? Since I don’t use one I wouldn’t know but certainly if it’s turned off why would he be blocked?
I think you may have something there. I use Surfshark on Tivimate with 2 providers. I set my location to Belgium and have had clear sailing now for months. If I use a Canadian location (I’m in Canada) I run into a lot of buffering and disconnecting.
