Steppenwolf - Born To Be Wild (1969) - YouTube

Thanks To Dracoo for starting this one. I was lying in bed last night and couldn’t sleep again I have been having some personal and medical stuff going on lately that’s why I haven’t been as active here. But this got my mind off everything else and really thought about how important music is all through my life. If you think about when you are very young you listen to what ever mom and dad are listening to mine was big band’s frank Sinatra Dean Martin wich I still listen to. Then when I got older I had a older sister and brother you influenced by them came 50 60s music a little older saved up bought my first stereo and 2 albums Jeff Beck and Jethro Tull. Then it starts LED Zeppelin Neil young bto and too much to list . I was lucky enough to have a lot of friends that are great musicians and had bands. You haven’t lived till you heard your favorite music Liv in cellar feeling the vibrations and thinking of nothing but that. Then I was lucky to start working for some of them after work and weekends moving their equipment setting up and down the line did lights for them. I had one friend who had 3 brothers that had a band and started out practicing in their parents cellar. Boy you want to talk about great music. Remember going to NY to cbgeebs to listen them when a record company was coming to listen. Didn’t work out for them but the drummer that was playing with them tico turned out to get the gig playing for Bon Jovi wow . Then later on in life went through my country phase that was to meet woman worked out ok and had fun. Back to Rock and now that I’m older I enjoy my 50s 60s and 70s Mostly. Still through in some Frank Sinatra and a big band once in awhile. And all through your life think about how much the music and people influenced you’re life sometimes good sometimes bad. But I love and listen to all kinds of music. Dracoo for getting us to think about the music and times of my life. :v::sunglasses:

@Bigrich …hope your issues work out for ya :slightly_smiling_face:
