i have owned various onn products and all of them have had major issues.
Exactly the opposite for me. No issues with my ONN devices.
Your statement was confusing. You would never own any, but you’ve owned them.

I would never own any onn electronics, they are the low of the low of electronics. The way i have my firestick set up, I have never had any problems with them. matter of fact I have one that’s 6 years old and will beat any onn’s piece of junk. The problem when it comes to firestick is operator error.

The things is, Onn is only a marketing brand that Walmart uses, Onn doesn’t make anything, Onn isn’t a original equipment manufacture. It’s only a private label owned by Walmart.
They don’t necessarily use the same manufacturer for versions of devices. That’s why you can see what appears to be a 4k Pro but has a different name from other sources.
Walmart does a 90 day gareentees and probably sells yearly failure insurance (no I don’t buy that), that’s typical warranty for the industry.
I don’t care if anyone ever buys the Onn devices or not but what your saying is that anything that is labeled Onn is bad but it could very well be manufactured by a major OEM.
Just saying… BTW I have a Firestick 4k and a second gen Firestick that both bricked, I have three Onn devices, the original 4k box, the next 4k box and the 4k Pro, they all still work.
So like most things, you roll the dice you take your chances.
I have 6 firesticks & have gifted a bunch in the last 6 years. They’re all still going except 1 which is lost
Yeah, but they don’t match up to what we get for free illegally. Their live channels don’t even match up to what’s currently on.
I have both connected, because I notice I can get some things on Firestick that I can’t get on Onn or vice versa.
Like many here I no longer have any firesticks. Mostly ONN disk 4k’s now. Just better!
I have both ONN and Fire Cube3, I use the Cube for the Hearing Aids settings, If anyone knows another device that offers this function that allows you to pair your Bluetooth hearing aids please post.
good one
I own multiple Fire TV Sticks. They work fine, I see no reason to replace them. Should any crap out on me, then I’d be looking at alternatives but until then I see no point in tossing them
Makes sense to me.
I use wolf launcher and only put the apps I want to see and use on that screen. Simple fix.
Impressed with that ONN $14.99 special. Its worth taking a look at it.
Unfortunately, the Onn sticks aren’t good. I want them to be, but they aren’t. If you go Onn, spend the extra $5 or $35 to get the box or Pro. Well worth the extra money.
I just run newer firesticks, for friends… its not a major issue moving the apps to the front every now and then…
How did you manage that?
I use the Launch on Boot app pointed at Project Ivy launcher or Launch on boot option in TiviMate or LiveNetTv. Booting takes about a minute, but the Amazon home screen ads only display for a portion of that. Once your on Project Ivy you only see apps you’ve selected. You can also stop updates and limit home screen ads and apps using NetGuard. I’ve had updates blocked for almost 2 years with no adverse effects. I also have 2 sticks that only display the home menu line on the home screen and don’t play any adds although I’m not exactly sure what I blocked in NetGuard to achieve that. Most likely KFTV
Today I updated one stick to verify this still works on latest update version. Going forward I plan to block updates unless something critical stops working or only install updates after others report no serious consequences from the update.
