Kodi Backup Instructions

This is kinda old school, but why not just type and save a document with the URLs of the repositories?
It’s not very difficult nor time consuming to just enter those on your re-installed Kodi app.

Why would you if you don’t have to? You not only have to install those addons, you have to configure them. If you’ve got 5 addons that’s a lot. You’re talking 10 minutes for backup and restore versus several hours to reinstall everything from scratch.

There is no logical argument against doing a backup and restore. If someone wants to do it, let them do it. Why would anyone advocate for doing more work instead of less?

If it’s an easy click-n-point, I agree that backing up a file is the thing to do.

But it doesn’t take me more than 10 minutes to install a repo or two and maybe another 15-20 to install a couple of add-ons, including incorporating RD and Trakt.
