# Itz weather stuff

**Daylight saving time ends on Sunday, November 1, 2026**. The official time change occurs at **2:00 a.m. local time** , when clocks fall back one hour to **1:00 a.m. local standard time**.

- **Timing** : The shift happens in the early morning, effectively extending the hour between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., allowing most Americans to gain an extra hour of sleep.

- **Exceptions** : This time change does not apply to **Hawaii** , most of **Arizona** , and several U.S. territories, which remain on standard time year-round.

- **Next Cycle** : Daylight saving time is scheduled to resume on **Sunday, March 14, 2027** , when clocks will spring forward at 2:00 a.m.
